Rebecca’s Alice in Wonderland-themed baby shower in New Jersey

This event is near and dear to our hearts. Our sister, Rebecca, was treated to a lovely Alice and Wonderland-themed baby shower in March. Her family and friends gathered at the American Legion in Spotswood, New Jersey, to celebrate the mom to- be’s first baby. (Shout-out to Jose Ortiz for taking these beautiful photos.)

The flying teacup centerpieces were made by Lillian Ortiz, who’s also a Love at First Snap photographer. There were wonderland-themed candy bags for guests, and a special Adventures in Wonderland collectible book that served as a guest sign-in, which will be gifted to the baby when she gets older. 🙂 How sweet?

Details! 🙂 The adorable cupcakes were by Baking it Happen, and the diaper cake was made by this awesome Etsy store. Angie, a longtime friend and baby shower helper extraordinaire, made the other delicious treats on the table.

A surprise birthday party for Eartha

It’s time to catch up on our recent work. We’ll start off with this fabulous surprise birthday party for Eartha M., who turned 70 in December. About 100 people gathered at the American Legion in Rahway, New Jersey, some coming as far as Texas, to celebrate the birthday of the family matriarch.

Can you tell she was surprised? What a lovely gathering.

Maternity shoot – Steve and Lucia

_DSC0907 _DSC0837 We took Steve and Lucia’s engagement photos a few years ago and we were thrilled to find out that the happy couple was preparing to welcome their first child later this year.

For the scene, we opted for one of the couple’s favorite spots: the gorgeous Van Vleck Gardens in Montclair. We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did. 🙂

Fats n’ No Family Reunion

We had so much fun at the Fats n’ No Family Reunion last month. It was our first time shooting a family reunion, and we focused on candid shots of the genuine love we could feel in the atmosphere. There were children playing, family members hugging and unbridled laughter to be found everywhere.
